So I'm a huge Once Upon a Time fan (a rare breed in Britain, even rarer among my friends, which is dangerous because my fangirl has no safe outlet) and recently (ok, since I illegally watched Tallahassee) I've become a HUGE Emma Swan x Captain Hook Shipper. So I leave for Oxford University in two days......HOW THE HELL DID I GET TO THIS POINT???? This year has been so ridiculously crazy, and lots of stuff I could never have imagined have happened. I can't believe I've had such amazing luck, and that everything has turned out pretty much in the cast of my wildest dreams. For one thing, I now have a frog doorstop and Mumford and Sons have released a new CD. What more could I possibly need out of life? I'm leaving on the 30th, and I'm scared shitless - of everything from freshers flu, to all the child geniuses i'll be meeting, to my teachers and the 15 minute time slot I get to unload all my stuf

So...I haven't posted here in a while, and my last journal was a bit crappy and ultra whiny, so I thought I'd post something here that's more interesting. As some people already know, I've been spending my lovely, long summer working on my novel, which I came up with for last years nanowrimo (which I failed miserably to complete). I've now finally got my act together and have passed the nanowrimo benchmark, being on over 63000 words (over two hundred pages.....*woop*) and I really am gonna try and finish it before uni starts (if uni starts, did I mention its results in two days?!?!?!).
